Our Story
We specialize in the abstract expressionism, minimalism, and symbolism art movements. Our collection includes limited edition art prints, photographic runs, sculpture, drawings, and one-of-a-kind pieces. We also showcase experimental digital, music, and dance projects presented through virtual experiences and live events.
The gallery started as a personal promise to keep the doors open to art in my life and the lives of others. As culture gets diluted with hectic lives, media bombardment, digital noise, and decentralized communities, art must connect in new places and more meaningful ways. Art has to speak to the spirit, not just decorate walls, yet the two are not mutually exclusive.
This is an ongoing commitment to the art, not the business of galleries and selling art. We showcase works in various venues, collaborate with local galleries and virtual spaces, and we'll see how the gallery and interaction spaces evolve. Jorge Suria Gascot, curator and gallerist for Oeuvre, studied Humanities, Art History, and visual arts at the University of Puerto Rico, later expanding his studies into immersive and digital media. His academic foundation spans art history, philosophy, theater, and comparative religions. Alongside his artistic work, Jorge built a professional career in graphic design and marketing, leading his award winning agency to produce creative projects across multiple industries. His background in visual communication, media, and strategy supports a curatorial perspective that moves between traditional art disciplines and contemporary modes of creation and presentation. His work reflects a lifelong engagement with modern art movements, as well as an ongoing interest in how music, dance, philosophy, and symbolism speak to the spirit on an intimate level across time and cultures. Through Oeuvre, Jorge brings together artistic lineage, experimentation, and professional experience into a gallery shaped by modern expression and the building of a memorable gallery brand.
