Life is a diptych - one part here, another part there. When we are separated from those we love, their light manifests and finds us in unexpected ways. The Message explores this passage: light flowing through darkness, connection across distance, meaning beyond presence.

The message is believed to have originated as a message from the artist's father-in-law to his daughters after his passing during the pandemic, letting them know that light still flows.

The work continues the tradition of abstract expressionism pioneered by artists like Rothko, exploring emotion and spirituality through color and form.
