The language of light

Inspired by Picasso's works with light, this series uses flashlights and filters to create abstract minimalist drawings through performance art captured via long exposure photography.

Visual poetry, hidden messages, a simple line takes flight. A point of light in the infinite stream of time becomes a line. Working in darkness, each drawing remains invisible until the shutter closes, revealing gestural abstractions captured only by the trails left behind.

The White Princess was featured in SNAP Gallery's Florida Showcase and Amapola or "Norma Jean" was exhibited at Royal Original as part of a brand collaboration.

The works are titled after the intuitive associations with the abstract drawings.
